As part of this growth, we are seeking a Head of Technical to lead and inspire the existing team, driving innovation, and ensuring that the technical functions and are at the forefront of the company strategy and delivery commitments.
You will be responsible for managing all aspects of technical design, including standard house types, NHBC and warranty provider management of working drawings to full compliance. You will also through your team manage civil engineering design, covering all aspects from sloping sites, Bio Diversity, Planning conditions, retaining wall design drainage and pumping solutions.As a professional in residential technical management, you will be able to demonstrate a real in depth knowledge of the wider general residential market, and be able to identify new trends, opportunities and ways to improve and enhance the current product range.
We are seeking a leader, with experience in managing a strong and skilled team. It is important that the successful candidate be able to demonstrate experience in these key skills. Ultimately ensuring that the company are delivering the highest quality well-built homes to its diverse and growing customer base.
Requirements
It is likely that the successful candidate will have extensive experience in a Technical Team leadership role, possibly from a major PLC house builder, and have held a senior appointment in the department for at least five years.
