Working closely with Councils and Housing Associations to provide technical property services to deliver land, asset and development projects with social impact. We also create long term partnerships with local authorities and other public and private sector bodies to add value to land and property assets bringing additional resources, skills, innovative funding solutions and end-to-end delivery services to deliver a wide variety of property transactions and projects to support each partnership.
Based in Surrey, with a national capability through its strategic network of partners, we deliver services to bring forward projects on publicly owned land and assets across the full spectrum of real estate, with an emphasis on creating socio-economic benefits for both our partners and the wider community.
KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES

Responsibilities:
· The primary focus of the role is to work with the director and the team to grow existing client’s relationships. Identify the position for and secure new clients, support and manage bids for new work.
· Contribute to the diversification of the service offer to our clients. Support the director to identify and recruit new team members and build teams to deliver projects successfully.
· To lead all projects relating to asset management and land promotion and to programme and manage internal resources to deliver all client requirements, taking responsibility for end-to-end service delivery.
· Act as the key, day to day client interface, ensuring that client objectives are met and that projects are delivered to time cost targets and the appropriate quality standards. Manage projects and resources in an efficient manner to contribute to the overall profitability of the business.
· To contribute to the overall strategic and operational management to the business. Be specifically responsible for delegated business development / marketing tasks and support the director to achieve the business plan.

Key Responsibilities will include:
• Identifying opportunities to develop new business with existing clients and reporting such opportunities to the appropriate line manager;
• Proactive in the identification and pursuit of new clients/new business;
• Assisting in the production of bid documentation;
• Ensuring that project case study, photograph and project CV files are kept up to date;
• Identifying ways in which project management products and services can be improved and referring ideas to the appropriate line manager;
• Ensure internal reporting tools are up to date with accurate returns, fee / cost forecasts etc.;
• Ensure direct reports are reviewing and processing third party consultant invoices in a timely and correct manner;
• Identify any variation / opportunity in fee/return income projection;
• Manage projects under your control to meet client and business objectives;
• Leading and facilitating the overall collaboration across internal teams to deliver a cross functional project team;
• Advising at a strategic level at the project conception stage, including providing advice on the different approaches that can be adopted in order to successfully achieve the client’s overall objectives;
• Optimise project staff utilisation;
• Deliver the skills necessary to meet technical objectives for the project;
• Comply with internal risk management processes and identify any areas where additional processes need to be implemented;
• Ensure contracts for services for projects under your control are in place with all clients/sub-consultants in line with internal policy;
• Comply with risk mitigation measures defined by the client and agreed within the project objectives;
• Lead to establish the overall success criteria for the project, including time, cost, technical and performance parameters;
• Plan for and the ongoing management of quality, safety, health and environment issues relating to your service area;
• Establishing effective project governance, processes and systems to be utilised throughout project;
• Ensure the production of formal project progress and other reports;
• The job holder has the authority to make decisions within the boundaries of their responsibilities and accountability in the role.
• Coach/mentor junior staff as directed/agreed in their L&D plans;
